NASHVILLE, TENN. -

MindRocket Media Group, the comprehensive multi-channel public relations and editorial firm, has announced the hiring of Jennifer Stringer as Senior Director of Business Strategy and Relationships. Stringer was previously the Vice President of Creative Education and Business Strategy for CarrotNewYork, where she led the development of the company’s strategic plan and contributed to innovative education outreach efforts. She is also the founder of Square 32 Consulting, an agency bringing expertise in educational strategy and marketing, social media, digital learning, and 21st-century teaching to a wide range of clients. With MindRocket, Stringer will play a critical role in business development, including outreach and engagement with new and potential clients and business partners. She will also contribute to client relationship management and overall strategy.

“Adding Jennifer to the MindRocket team is the next exciting step in our growth as a company and represents our biggest commitment yet to enhancing our business development efforts,” said Dr. Rod Berger, President and CEO of MindRocket Media Group. “With more than a decade of experience as an educator, as well as an impressive track record of success in marketing, business development, and strategy roles, she brings a wealth of relevant, valuable experience to the company. I look forward to collaborating closely with Jennifer and to seeing the new elements her expertise brings to our organization.”

Stringer, based in Brooklyn, has worked with a variety of public and private schools, non-profits, and education technology companies through her company, Square 32 Consulting. She and her team have provided services including campaign development, curriculum asset development, product feedback and development, new business support, pilot programming, and marketing and social media strategy.

In her role at CarrotNewYork, Stringer was part of the executive management team, which continually examined key components of the business, including clients, end users, effective teaching and marketing practices, and the latest in design and digital education. Her work in business development included identifying potential clients, building partnerships, and working on successful proposals to secure business. Her accounts included Colgate, Feeding America, LifeTime Foundation, the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, and the New York State Education Department.

Prior to working in marketing and business strategy, Stringer spent 13 years as an educator in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and New York City areas. She was a classroom teacher for more than a decade and spent time as a principal intern, head teacher, and educational technology coordinator. In her most recent educator role as Educational Technology Coordinator at Trevor Day School in New York City from 2013-2015, Stringer drove innovation in admissions, administration, communications, instruction, and professional development; planned and delivered professional development at the local and national levels; managed social media channels; created strategic plans and PreK-12 curriculum; and more.

"Through my active involvement in the education space, I've been able to watch the exciting growth of MindRocket Media Group from afar,” said Stringer. “The work they were doing, the connections they were making, and the overall impact they were having in the industry caught my attention and I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. I'm so thrilled to become a part of this talented, hard-working team, and I hope my experience and expertise will aid in our continued growth.”

Stringer’s depth of experience in all areas of PreK-12 education, marketing, and business development will be invaluable to the MindRocket team, which works exclusively in the education industry with partners and clients engaged in all levels, from PreK-20, as well as nontraditional and extended education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Early Childhood Education from Texas Woman’s University, as well as a Master’s in Educational Technology and Leadership from Lamar University.
